The ASD’s goal is to protect investors and protect the integrity of the capital markets. Arkansans can turn to their securities regulator for unbiased information to help them make informed decisions. The ASD has developed accessible investor education and fraud prevention resources to raise awareness of current investing topics and investor-related policy. The ASD Investor Education Section provides access to objective investment information and helps consumers make informed investment decisions.
These programs were initially available to community, civic and senior groups. The program was expanded to include middle and secondary schools. The school program is a multi-media presentation designed to teach students about the stock market, securities and investing through the various securities markets. We offer presentations on Frauds & Scams, Cryptocurrency, Elder Abuse, and Investor Education.
