Proposed 2017 Amendments To The Rules Of The Arkansas Securities Commissioner

The Arkansas Securities Department will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in the Fourth Floor Hearing Room of the Arkansas Securities Department, 201 East Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas. The public hearing will be conducted for the purpose of accepting public comment on the proposed amendments to the Rules of the Arkansas Securities Commissioner (“Rules”) for the Arkansas Securities Act, Ark. Code Ann. §§ 23-42-101 through 509 (“Act”). The proposed amended Rules will provide better clarity for applicants and registrants and greater uniformity with other securities regulatory jurisdictions. These amendments address matters necessary in the orderly administration of laws concerning the regulation of securities activity in Arkansas.

Written comment will be accepted through 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017.
