Proposed 2019 Amendments To The Money Services Rules

The Arkansas Securities Department will hold a public hearing on Friday, November 15, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the Fourth Floor Hearing Room of the Arkansas Securities Department, 201 East Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas. The public hearing will be conducted for the purpose of accepting public comment on the proposed amendments to the Money Services Rules (“Rules”) for the Uniform Money Services Act, Ark. Code Ann. §§ 23-55-101 through 1007 (“Act”). The proposed amended Rules make changes in surety bond and net worth requirements with other clarifying provisions. These amendments address matters necessary in the orderly administration of laws concerning the regulation of money services activity in Arkansas.
